Do you think that it is okay to serve a candlelight dinner to a date?

The mother did not feel like fixing dinner for the children so they ate soup and sandwiches and that is ok. But then she got a phone call and the Date was coming over. She took the time to cook a candlelight dinner for the date. Was this okay or not???

  • Who cares? her kids got fed a decent meal, so I'm not seeing the big deal or how its anyone's business.

  • I don't know - I mean the kids got fed - but I think that sends a message to the children "you're not important enough for me to go through the effort of cooking, but my date is." I wouldn't have done that.

  • Isn't that tricky?! I know some folks who are mad about it, but I think I straddle the fence. Like u said-the children got fed...buuut...idk...maybe this was a "special" booty bump! LOL
