How long after implantation bleeding should I test?

I didn't have implantation bleeding with my first, but I think that might be what I just experienced. I didn't want to test too early... How long should i wait? My periods are totally irregular, so going by my last missed period or waiting until when I think I'm supposed to start again won't help me at all. I bled Tuesday, Wednesday, and a little bit yesterday morning. Shortest period I've EVER had in my life-- they are always 6-7 days. Any answers are appreciated!

  • Okay so you usually have implantation occuring I think around 7 days after conception, give or take a couple of days. I'd wait at least another full week after that , so another 7 days, so that there is enough hormone in your urine for it to come up positive. Just a suggestion. Good luck!
