Mascara

It's almost time for me to replace my mascara. I have the worst time finding a brand that works well for me. Just about everything I've tried gives me raccoon eyes.

Who else has this problem and have you found a mascara that won't give you raccoon eyes? Suggestions?

  • I never get raccoon eyes because i always choose waterproof. i like lash stiletto or maybelline falsies mascara. put a business card on ur lids before applying mascara. it will keep them clean.

  • I use Bare Minerals mascara. I've never had a problem with raccoon eyes...but most importantly I've never had eye irritation with it, which is a first.

  • Stiletto is a good one, and I also love Lash Blast in the orange tube that Queen Latifa advertises. Never runs!

  • The issue isn't that I'm messy with application. I never have to worry about that. The issue is an hour after I have applied it I wind up with more around my eyes than is left on my eyelashes.

  • use a waterproof mascara. if you use a foundation/primer around your eyes/eyelids, make sure it isn't oil-based, as the oils in those products (or even your shadows/creams) will contribute to the breaking down of the mascara..sometimes, even with waterproof!
