protective 2 year old

I have an amazing, sweet almost 2 year old son. He is very good with playing and sharing...except with his drink. Whether it be a sippy cup drink or a juice box, if he has it, nobody dare to try to get it from him or he fights you and then cries. Has anyone else gone through something similiar? He isn't clingy with a blankie and you could even steal his pacifier, just not that drink!!

  • My son is protective of his blanket. But he has a 10 month old sister who he thinks is out to get him. It's rather adorable.

  • it seems like for now at least his drink is his comfort he may change it later to something different. but every kid goes though stages on what they care more about and what they could give two s***s about.
