How do you cut the toenails of a bulldog that won't sit still?

Of course I'm asking because we have the clippers at home, and don't have the time to take him to the pet care center.

  • Pedi paws honestly works great. We have a German Short Hair and we got the pedi paws. It takes a while to get her used to it. We started with just having her lay down and turning it on getting her used to the noise giving her treats and telling her good girl. Then getting her used to the feel of it and giving her treats. Then after each paw giving her treats. Now she gets a couple of treats when all her pays are finished.

  • Hahaha, there's no way my bulldog would let me cut her toenails. Sorry, I don't have any advice.

  • sometimes if you talk to the vet either they can do it, or a groomer can do it, some vets depending on your dog's health prescribe a very mild sedative to help calm your dog so you can do it yourself.
