Thermostat setting?

What do you keep your thermostat at during the summer and winter? We keep ours at 69 during the winter and 72 during the summer. Our neighbors said that when we have kids we need to keep it at 72 during the winter too. One it's non of their business, two none of their business!!!! lol venting feels good!

  • Same as you. My son is bundled when he goes to bed and he is a heat box so 72 for heat would bake him and me!!

  • Everybody's different. Some people are hot natured and other people are cold natured. It just depends. Personally, in the summer I keep it on 72. In the winter, 71 during the day and 67 at night.

  • I hear long as they're comfortable (not too cold, not too hot). If you were really interested, we keep ours set at 73 in the winter (I hate being cold, but vomit when the electric bill comes in), and around 70-71 in the summer. Tell your neighbors to bite it.

  • I think our thermo stays at 71 during the winter. ...I also have an electric blanket on 365 days a year or I'd freeze to death. During the summer I have no idea what the air is set at - but it's too cold!
