Can I get a legit free credit report? Trans Union wants $30.00

  • Yes, the above address, and you get one per year from EACH credit agency. It's a good idea to get one and stagger them through out the year so that you can keep an eye on your credit all year.

    Also, the free credit report does NOT provide your score, just a list of your creditors, what you owe, and how many times you've been late or if you're on have to pay for your score, but it's less than $10 with each. I just did this with all of them.

  • You only get one free credit report every 12 months. So if you checked it with TransUnion less than 12 months ago, that's probably why they are charging.

    You can only get your report for free, you'll have to pay extra if you want your score.
