  • Nope, when we vacation I want to see new places, not keep going back to the same place. I would be happy to live in a cottage, though, once the kids are on their own. (c:

  • No. We've looked in the Caribbean, but the tax and residency laws are really hard to navigate, not to mention expensive. Our plan was to buy our retirement home now (because there are still very affordable beach properties), use it for vacations, and then eventually live there. We've decided to wait until we are closer to retirement.

  • Yes. We have a slope side condo in Maine, and our regular home in Pennsylvania. We also own 3 investment properties which we rent (that I obtained through inheritance) in Boston and in South Carolina, that we COULD use, but at this point are just renting.

We have considered selling one of the Boston homes to buy a condo in Grand Cayman, but will need to wait until at least the market rebounds. :o)

  • we have 2 homes ( one needs remodeled alot from water damage enable to be livable) and a spare lot. Hoping to get more remodeling done in the home we live in now. We also have a timeshare for our vacation week at Treasure Lake, Dubois,PA They consider it a Condo but resembles nice townhouse per say. We are thinking about checking into camping sites there as well. We are far from being rich.
