  • Nasty teeth and breath...ugh. I could never get past it when I was dating.

  • Too smelly or inappropriate commentarty and humor. And when I say too smelly...I mean bad breath, bad b.o. or just overkill with the fragrances in cologne, deodorant, soap, etc.

  • A beer in a man's hands when I meet him is a turn off to me. I wouldn't date anyone I met in a bar for that reason as well. I drink from time to time and love the bar atmosphere. But, I never hung out in a bar every weekend like some of my friends did. I found that if I met someone with a drink in their hands, chances were they drank more than I did. I grew up with an alcoholic and I wasn't going to deal with that again in my life. Needless to say, we barely ever have alcohol in our house. Which is fine by both of us!

  • off...bad breath, unclean teeth (plaque build up), messy clothes, drunk, cursing, "sex" talk or suggestive comments, BO, gaulking at other women while talking to me, rude to wait staff, talks negatively about other people.

on...being a gentleman, talks-ask questions & listens, laughs, cologne-smells good, seems positive about things, offers a hand shake and nothing else (doesn't try to kiss)

  • turn offs--bad teeth, body odor, sweat, stringy hair/bad haircut, too loud/obnoxious, poor-because they have no ambition, not because they don't make $, unkempt or dirty clothings/shoes (not because they are a mechanic, but because they just don't wear clean clothes!)

turn ons--the opposites of the turn-offs. plus, a good sense of humor, attentiveness, and secure in their manhood.

  • I am turned on by men who can carry on intelligent conversations (but not nerdy intelligent conversations...more literary and global). Men who smell good in a natural, earthy way, and who feel warm as you are just NEAR them. I am turned on by men who act like gentlemen.

  • I liked the virgins because I was shy. Clean cut appearance, gentleman not conceided
