  • I am a super clean person and am bothered by dirty, even messy people. I didn't see that episode but I can only imagine. I've known a couple of people who live in utter filth (so dirty they don't even bother to do dishes but buy paper plates). I think it's disgusting and honestly, I totally judge people based on how clean their houses/apts. are. I know it's wrong, but I think my mom drilled it into my head as a child.

  • This couple's house was so cluttered they could hardly walk through their house, their was a pile of cat hair in a closet and mounds of dog hair all over the place. Then they told the people at clean house they wanted to have a baby and the crew was horrified, which I totally can understand. Is this a sickness or what? I think so.

  • This is terrible to say, but the house we bought from my aunt was like this. We have spent over a year rehabbing it (still not done and moved it yet) and we've got it almost stripped down to the brick walls and it still smells! I've been to their house many times when it was so gross you could hardly stand it. After she moved out, when we bought the house, we found cat hair all over, dog poop on the carpet, mice in the ceiling, and lots of other gross stuff! I would have NEVER eaten at her house for family holidays! GROSS!!!! I'll never understand why she's that way!

  • No I have not watched that show. But I did used to work in the Apartment Industry.Down here it is pretty big compared to back home.like 200 to 600 apartment communities. We had to do property inspections & some people were nasty. It was usually a good indication that they were drug users & very often we found needles in bathroom drawers or under sinks. The most disgusting place that I remember,I had just began working on this property & we were working hard to clean up the property. This 1 apartment we had asked someone to move. We went in and the entire walls were literally moving. The walls were moving because it was covered in cock roaches. Every inch was brown with roaches. Down here we dont have the winters that kill the roaches..so they were huge.We opened the door and they were literally falling to the ground. Super nasty!!It took pest control and our maintenance guys a few months of just saturating that entire place with pesticides.

  • There is a family I know of that, in the past maybe 10 years, has lived in 4 different homes. The first 3 had to be burned down. They are still living in the last one. It's beyond messy. It's complete and utter filth. I'm not a neat freak, actually, I'm a slob.... but how do they live like that???? I don't get it.

  • I don't get it either. How can you stand looking at this mess day in and day out. Its just being down right lazy. Or waiting on the next person to clean it up!!

  • I sure do know people like that! My father in laws house was like that! You could not even walk through. Everything was just thrown in every room and full of filth! One of his sons decided to move there when he moved out and it took 2 big dumpsters to clean out just the actual garbage. But, now my husbands brother and his wife and kids live there pretty much the same. Ripped and damaged walls, filth everywhere... broken toys clutter like mad! You can see the basement from the bathroom floor.... the floor is rotted away! Trust me, I never go there.. I've only seen pictures when she sends proud pictures of their filthy children. It's really sad!

  • That was a mess! My favorite part was when they said they wanted a foster child and Neesy (sp) said that maybe the kid was already in there lost in the clutter! Oh and When Matt said that the ceiling fan may be the old one, just without all the dust...LOL..I just love them hahaha

  • I didn't see it, but have to say that my mom lives in that filth... I don't have the pictures here on this computer, so I won't show you, but You'd be disgusted... Boxes floor to ceiling, hasn't vacuumed in at least 6 years. Hasn't done dishes (except what she needs at that time) In about 3 years! Gross... Dishes from Thanksgiving in 06 are still there... I know because my brother still lives there and he said it's gotten worse! YUCK!
