What are your thoughts on the upheaval in Egypt? Should the American Gov't do anything about it?

They have shut down internet and some landlines in anticipation of protesters on Friday to change Egypt and the regime there.

  • N, . the US Govt. should stay out of what is a purely internal political matter . If the US is aked by the Egyptians to play a conciliatory role , that could be considered but otherwise , stay out of it .

  • No matter what we do, the rest of the world will condemn us for something. We should just stay out of it. The Monroe Doctrine doesn't include the Middle East.
