  • I made a list of names and my husband made a list. There was only one name on both lists. That was what we used.

  • I found her first name in a baby book (it's Kalina) and it was the ONLY name out of about 150 that DH and I both agreed on. Alexis, her middle name, came from my sister's name (Alexandra) and DH's middle name/dad's name (Alexander). Her second middle name, Starling, was my dad's name. He passed away almost exactly 2 months before she was born and I've always loved the name.

  • Oh, and his middle name is my DH's grandfather's middle name. He wanted to do something to honor his grandfather, but I told him the name Lester (his GF's first name) was not going anywhere near my child.
