Recently I found out that my son's ex girlfriend aborted their baby after breaking up with him when she was about 5 months pregnant.
I am having a hard time with it. Not only am I anti abortion but to see the pain my son is in from not only losing her but their baby, as well, it's really hard to deal with. Does anyone have any suggestions in coping with this kind of loss. My son "made" me promise not to tell anyone about it. But it's so hard keeping this type of thing to myself.

Here is a link to a website that offers resources to help young men in the same situation as your son. I hope it helps.

Have a private memorial service. This can help with the grieving process. Also there's this. http://www.rachelsvineyard.org/men/index.htm they are there to help not convert. It might help him to know that he is not alone there are other men who have been through this.

She waited 5 months??? I am sorry for how you are feeling. It may be best that a child did not come into this world with two people who aren't even together anyway. Your son will meet someone he is meant to be with, and give you grand kids then.
