  • I would do it for myself and I would want my husband to have one too and if he didn't want to, I would insist on it. I don't see any reason why I wouldn't want to have one. A prenup only states things that I find natural anyways and agree with. If someone has a considerable amount of money, then yes I would definitely do it.

  • If I had enough resources that a prenup would matter, I would say prenup for both parties. But b/c we were poor when we got married and poor now, no prenup

  • If it's a young couple with neither having any assets, then no. But if there are assets, or either has children, then there should be a pre nup. Talk to an attorney. It's financial protection every one should have for themselves and their heirs.

  • I used to say no way! But now I say if you have something of value go for it. when i was 18 i would have been offended. i married my first love. i have been divorced twice now and the second one wouldn't let me in the house to get my stuff. he has my grandmother's quilts the are about 75 yrs. old and her locket that I got when i got married the first time. plus a lot of other stuff. i have a fiance now and he owns his home free and clear and my dad just bought me a beautiful 7 acres place. so i would definetly say yes now. for both of us. i want my children to get what is mine and he wants his to get his. so it's a win/win situation.
