  • Haha, I am amazed that the first two answers were opposing views. What would your reasons be for picking either one? I like the idea of the hybrid for economical and environmental reasons, but I like the SUV idea because of the features like 4WD, big enough for big kids, big enough for travel/toting things (imaginine a kayak on top).

  • Ford makes an SUV that is a hybrid...best of both worlds if you want both.

  • I am a fan of little cars. I want a Prius. I like that I can maneuver it and it is great on gas. I would much rather have a pick up than an SUV and that can be DH's so that I can drive my little car. I currently have a coupe and I have no issues with fitting the kiddos in there comfortably. We have even taken a 1800 mile road trip in that thing!

  • For me. It's both. For work an SUV ( rural carrier) Running around town I love my hybrid.

  • I would choose a hybrid SUV. They do make them and they're pretty nice.
