What would be a nice gift to get for neighbors?

A very nice neighbor and his wife helped shovel me out - I was going to get them something small to say THANKS. Maybe a few THANKS to a few more neighbors that acted really neighborly. What do you think?

  • Cookies seems to always be a good trick (unless diet or allergy) as a friendly gesture and thank you...or those fruit bouquets might be something. -Shrugs-

  • Return the favor? I just figured thats something the neighbors and the community would just do... help each other out. No need to give a reward. But ya if ya wanna give em batch of warm cookies, who'd complain unless their allergic? lol

  • i do agree with zoeyis though...i think it would be a little overly neighborly making cookies and all. i think a simple thankyou at the time they helped was probably enough. i'm sure you will be there as a neighbor in there time of need

  • I myself think the homemade goodies are always appreciated. Then again I just love to cook!
