  • You're going to get a lot of different answers on this one. Breastfeeding is great, if it works for you.

  • yes but be careful if you have been exposed to toxins (if you work in a dry cleaners for example) then it is not a good idea

  • It's better but not necessary.

  • It may be better for some women and babies and once upon a time that was the only option. For people like me who have to take medication that would poison my child if I breast fed.........thank goodness for alternatives.

  • Its necessary to feed your child. Sure Bfing is better if you can but a lot of us can't, so whatever works best for you, your schedule and situation is better

  • breast is best!! there is no ifs or buts about it. is it for everyone nope but i do belive most woman should at least try.

    lets see
breastfeeding reduces the risk of breast cancer on the mother and all types of cancer on baby
it also reduces the risk of diabities, asthma, allergies, ear infection and others stuff for baby
    its FREE!!
    always ready
and it burns 500 calories a day!!

formula. not the best choice but it does its job
but this is what formula could causes
it increase the chances for asthma, eczema, diabeties all other stuff

oh and it doenst help the mom loose weight

  • Whatever works best for you, your baby & the rest of your family is the best choice and no one should judge you for it.

  • why on earth would it be necessary? if it were, formula would not exist.

we all know breast is best.. but im glad formula is available when that is not an option.

  • It's a personal choice. I breastfed for only three months before switching to formula. I miss doing it, but I just felt switching to formula would have been better.
