What age did you consider switching your child from glasses to contacts?

I know responsibility varies from kid to kid, but in general?

  • My children were in high school when they got contacts. My granddaughter who is 11 got them last year and she hardly ever wears them. She has trouble getting them in, and because it takes her so long, she just wears her glasses.

  • My son is thirteen and wears glasses. i dont think I will let him wear contacts until he is in high school.

  • I would have to say 7th or 8th grade. My daughter is in 5th grade right now and doesnt want contacts but I think that ahe will change her mind as she gets older so if she wants them when she gets a couple years older Ill get them for her
