Are there really any stay at home jobs?

Or are they all just scams? I dont want to do parties or have to buy into something to make money. Especially when I have no money to begin with. Someone help.

  • If you have some sales experience, I know for sure that there are call center jobs. There is a site called callcenterjobs.com where you can post your resume. I worked for a company that had real call center opportunities but they required a proven-sales background. You might also find customer service and marketing jobs there. For example, when people respond to an ad about online school, they will get a call center operator.

  • I hate selling! I used to work in retail which I hated. I am currently in college trying to become a nurse.

  • Most of them require an established skill set and experience. Or, they are sales positions anyway in which case you would probably be better off with a home business. I love the freedom my home business gives me.

  • There are REAL work from home jobs, and there are scams. You learn the difference after a while, but there's a lot of people on Cafe Mom who can help you weed through the good and bad. Although I love my business, it may not be right for everyone, but I can at least help other people find their way through a lot of my findings. It really depends on how much you're looking to make, and how soon. There's no such thing as GET RICH QUICK, so if you do want to work from home, in whatever field that may be, understand that it will take some time to build it and see the money come in :-). Hope this helped.
