  • Yes, they are 6, 4, and 3. I give them a general direction to go in, such as when it is cold they need long pants and a long shirt. Sometimes it comes with some very interesting outfits and sometimes I send them in to change but they love picking out their clothes.

  • I have always felt that my children should have the freedom to create their own style, within the boundaries of modesty. If they want articles of clothing that aren't modest, I might help them find a way to wear it that is acceptable. I have one daughter who leans to a very sporty, casual look. I have one daughter who is going to be the world's next Punky Brewster. Their styles fit their personalities to a tee, and I see no reason to stifle them. From the time they are about 2 I let them start to direct what they wear, though obviously not entirely at that age. By 3 or 4 my daughters were choosing their own clothes every day. I'm not sure my son will care much.

  • I give my daughter choices and let her wear the one she picks. She is 2. When she gets a little older I will let her dress her herself.

  • I usually let my son (7) pick out his own clothes. But I do want them to at least somewhat match in color scheme. And I request that he doesn't wear his sweat pants every day. I rather he wear jeans. My daughter is 1 so doesn't really pick out her own clothes yet. I do give her choices between 2 different tops or dresses and she can pick. But sometimes she wants both lol!
