do adoptions pay?

I have a friend who is pregnant and she is choosing adoption.

she is in such a bad situation with bills to the ceiling so i want to know doesnt the birth parent get a portion of proceeds of the adoptive parent fees?

  • With most adoptions, at least part of the birth parents living expenses and all medical expenses are paid. However, it varies. If she checks with an agency, they will be able to advise her what is paid for.

    Some adoptive parents will vounteer to pay the BM's expenses during her pregnancy,but she cannot get money for putting the child up. You can't sell your child

  • I sure hope not. That is a horrible thought. One should never consider putting a baby up for adoption for money.
