Do you think its healthy for children to be vegans?

I am not against vegans im just curious?

  • Sure, if their parents know what they're doing. It's not healthy for anyone to be a vegan if they're doing it wrong, but it's perfectly normal if it's done correctly.

  • sure! my late sister raised her kids vegans and they where in the gifted classes at school (brain developement) and never sick.

  • I think it can be, as long as the kids are getting the required iron and protein from other sources.

  • it can be unhealthy for anyone if it's not done properly....if you spend the time and do the research, it can be very beneficial...my daughter is almost 2 1/2 and has never touched meat..she's tasted it and on her own chooses not to eat it...we are not vegans, but good for those who are :)

  • A vegan child has the same chance to be healthy as a child who eats dairy and a child who eats meat.

    Half of children who eat the Standard American Diet (SAD) are both undernourished and overweight; one third of them will develop type two Diabetes.
