  • 3 small cups of milk following meals, as much water as she wants, (normally about 3-4 kids cups), and every so often a juice box at lunch time.. she's almost 2 1/2.

  • My kids are older so I don't really get their drinks any more. They drink when they are thirsty, although there are certain drinks they have to ask for such as soda. If they are drining water or milk I don't usually control it.

  • My kids (10, 9, 8 and 4) have free access to the faucet. They can drink whenever they want. They only drink water at home (milk is for cereal and cooking, we don't have juice in the house, soda is for adults only).
When they were toddlers and couldn't get their own they always had a cup of water near by at all times. When they drank it all I'd fill it back up and put it near where they were playing.

  • My oldest takes a water bottle to school it 's 32 oz, plus juice at lunch and more water and milk when she gets home. She is really active. My youngest has at least 3- 8 oz bottles of milk, water and juice(diluted with water) throughout the day he usually takes 2 to 3 of these in a 12 oz sippy cup. He's on alot of meds for allergies so we try to keep him hydrated. My daughter is allowed non caffienated sodas occassionally ie. sprite, gingerale, rootbeer. We go through 4 to 5 gallons a milk a week between all of us.
