  • some children don't talk until later... I have known kids that wait to talk until they are closer to 3 and sometimes even 4... I would still say talk to your ped about it but it might be nothing so don't freak out... just ask your doctor.. he or she will run some tests.... also only children that don't have alot of interaction with other kids tend to start talking later than most

  • Look into a program at your local health department or school district where they offer free evaluations. The earlier you get things checked out the better. Your doctor may have information on a place to get an evaluation - speech evaluation.

  • If you have concerns then talk to his doctor. She may refer him to an early intervention program to be evulated and there he can receice speech therapy.

    LEARN TO TALK YOURSELF, you can't even Spell right. So thats why your little one can't talk. Get her help.
