  • My kids are almost 4 and 7. They get to play loudly until dinner, 5pm. After dinner it's jammy time and quieter play until 7pm. At 7 it's cuddle time while we watch Wheel of Fortune and/or Jeopardy!. Then, at 8pm it's bed time for both kids. If they're really cranky/grumpy they got to bed after Wheel, if they've been really good sometimes I'll let them stay up. Both my kids usually wind up staying up a bit later reading (or looking at pictures, for the 4 year old) in bed. But they'd better be laying down, books away at 9.

  • Between 8 and 8:30.

They are 3 (4 in two weeks) and 1. They go to bed at the same time.

We eat dinner at about 6, then they play from 6:30-7:30, then bath time, put on PJs, brush teeth and then off to bed.

  • When my kids were 4 and under their bed time was usually between 7 and 7:30. Sometimes they would stay up a little later although not very often.

  • bed time is 7 pm for all 3 of them, they are 15 months, 3 yrs and 6 yrs. However if we have a movie night or decide to read a few more books they can stay up until 8:30 or 9 pm.

  • My 4yo has an 8pm bedtime on school nights (she's not in school) and 9pm on weekends just like the older kids.
When my older kids were her age it was 7pm. It got to be too much of a hassle trying to make her go to bed at 7pm when everyone else got to stay up until 8pm so I gave up. It's not like she has anywhere to go in the morning and if she's acting cranky I make her take a nap.
7pm was bedtime all year round for all of my kids until the oldest was 7 and then we switched to a later weekend/summer bedtime (9-10pm depending on what they were doing). It was still bedtime on school nights until this year (they are 10, 9 and 8).
