if i had sex a week before my period...

and i got pregnant. would my "period" be implantation bleeding? also how soon could i take a test?

  • You usually get pregnant/ovulate 2 weeks after the start of your period. If your timing is accurate, you're probably not pregnant. Also, implantation bleeding is almost nothing. I've been preggers 4x and I've never even noticed implantation bleeding. You can take a test 5 days before you're due to start your period but take a digital test because the lines on the other tests are so faint that it looks negative. The digital test will show up yes/pregnant or no/not pregnant. Good luck!

  • Implantation bleeding is usually spotting. Not a full on period. If you are having a period, then you probably aren't pregnant.

  • since my miscarriage, i havent had a full on period, mostly spotting. thats kinda why i was asking.

  • also my period irregular since my miscarriage so im not really sure when my period was suppose to come. i just got light spotting for a few days.
