  • My son fell in a swimming pool, and it was called a near drowning. He was in a coma, but recovered, with no lasting problems.

  • I have 5 kids and out of the 5 I have had two get inured significantly (I guess you can say).
My now 18 yr old opened the fridge when he was 15 mths old (I had just had his brother a couple days before and couldnt walk very well). His sister (then 4) told him to get a yogurt. I didnt get up fast enough and a glass container fell on him. He needed 5 stitches on his head.
My youngest dd, when she was 4 yrs old was jumping on an ENCLOSED trampoline with 4 adults around it and fell out. She broke her arm. Trampoline is still there but no one uses it anymore.

  • My twins were playing on the bed in my daughter's room. He fell and broke his arm. We had a scary moment when my husband slammed the van door on my other son's hand. Luckily he wasn't injured.
