Do you think pedometers are worth it?

I haved tried many different kinds and I don't like them at all. I just got one that was a nicer one too and it still seems to register steps when you are not taking them. If you use one, what brand do you use?

  • I have one for when I do go out power walking or jogging, but I never wear it around all day long. Any swing movement with your foot or leg will cause it to register a step. Yet if I wear one during my Walk Away The Pounds dvd workouts it doesn't register half the steps since they are just walking in place and don't have the swing action necessary to register.

I'd rather get a BodyBugg to keep track of calories burned rather than a pedometer for steps! But those are costly
