need something to keep this cabe wire down..

we re did our livingroom before dh left for the sandbox , he got himself a 50 inch plasma the heaviest tv we have had yet. well we had planned to get a rug for the living room to hide the cable running threw it but have yet to do so and we trip over it almost on a daily basis. i cant move the living room around without help of a strong man and i know he wouldnt like it if another man or soldier came in to do so-
so what is something i can do in the mean time untill he gets home thats not too exspensive to hold down this cable so we dont trip on it anymore?
buy a rug might be out the question cause we only have a ford tuarus and 3 carseats in the back! akak no room for a big 9 X 12 rug like we need

  • Tape of some sort, or you can get these hard rubber things that lay over them, at home improvement stores. Tape would be cheaper though, duct tape (so many colors AND clear) or even gorilla tape (stronger but onlyu comes in black).

  • You can get a cord cover - they are plastic or rubber and you can get them at an office supply store like Staples. They come in 6 ft length I think and lay flat on the floor. Maybe about $10-15 each and in black and tan colors usually. This may be a good temporary solution until DH is home safe
