would you call out of work if your child was throwing up sick..although your dh was at home?

its just that i'm not too sure how capable my dh is of cleaning up puke and poopy pants. my son has diahrea and vomit..the past two times its hit him so hard he hasnt been able to make it to the bathroom.

  • I always called in even if hubby at home. Don't trust him to do what is right when it comes to the kids. Don't get me wrong he is a good dad he just lack common sense when it comes to the kids. lol

  • no i would not. i can't believe you even have to ask. unless your husband has some kind of physical or mental disability, he's just as capable of taking care of his child as you are.

  • I would, just because I think some men don't have the paients or compassion like moms do when kids are sick. They may be great dads but nothing beats mom.

  • Nope, I would go to work. He should be able to handle it, and i hate vomit.. so I would run away if i could :)
