When you read to your child(dren) in the evening, do you get through the bedtime story without yawning?

lol I try to, but every evening I fail. Actually I just want to lay down with her, but mommie's work is never done. (dishes, tidy up, prepare for next day...)

  • I always get sleepy when I read anything, which is silly because I LOVE to read.....I'm so guilty of the yawns, too.

  • ~*Smiles*~.... I can't help but yawn if it is bedtime stories... but we have a rule to stop anything we are doing, if a child brings a book, and read to them... unless we are in the middle of cooking or driving!

  • Yep I get through it without yawning. My dd though wants me to read every book in the house at night, and sometimes the same book 100 times lol. By then I might be tired.
