What does the baby breath...

When your water breaks or the doctor breaks your water, what does the baby breath since it was breathing amniotic fluid?

  • The baby does not breath until it is born and takes it's first breaths in the delivery room. All needs are met through the umbilibal cord until birth

  • It doesn't "breathe" the fluid.. The baby gets oxygen from you through the umbilical cord...
