How long does it normally take?

I had my son on 12-11-1o and i bleed for about 8 days. I do not breastfeed. My question is how long does it take to get your first period after having a baby so your cycle can start to become regular again. I havent had any of the normal signs that i have before a period like cramps headaches etc nothing

  • My cycle took well over a year to get back to "normal," and the normal now is not what it was before I had my child. I didn't breastfeed either.

  • your first cycle tends to be between 6-8 weeks post birth. It won't be normal and regular for at least a year for most women.
