I just heard this on Friday..

A book on the Jaycee Lee Duggard abduction will be made into a book & based on the true story..will you be buying this book?

  • I didn't follow this one too closely. Was she the one who missed about 15 years of schooling, has 2 kids out of rape with her abductor, and lived in the background for like 15 years? Assuming this girl did not receive any monetary settlement/reward by the court, and the majority of the book sale proceeds go to her. then I would say yes, I would buy it. The practical matter is she missed the education, has 2 girls to raise, plus on top of her own psychological problems from going thru this horrible ordeal, money would just be one less thing she has to deal with. How else can she provide for her children and herself?

  • I might borrow it from the library. This will be her chance to tell HER side of the story, and she has every right to do so, so I don't object to her doing it.
