I cut potatoes into fry shapes with the intent of making french fries...is there a healthier option now that the potatoes are aready cut?

  • bake them instead of fry them. make sure to rinse them off really well, then dry them really well on a tea towel or paper towels. put whatever seasoning on them that you want as well as just a small amount of olive oil or veg oil. put on a greased sheet pan and bake until crisp.

  • Light spritz of olive oil, salt and pepper, and oven roast them instead

  • Spray with small amount of oil, sprinkle with seasonings and bake in a preheated over 400 till golden brown. I use parchment paper or foil for easier cleanup

  • spayed cookie sheet spread them and bake them. They won't be crispy but healthier none the less.

  • Put some olive oil on them, sprinkle bon somebsalt n pepper and toss them in the oven at 450 for 10. Min periods. Tere quie asty that way and healthier then deepfrying

  • Like everyone else says, bake them. Next time, you could also try something even more healthier...sweet potato fries. Cut them and bake them the same way you would fries.

  • if you want french fries you could bake them. it takes longer but you pretty much get the same result. its defiantly healthier.
