On Atkins, how do you subtract Carbs..

On Atkins, how do you subtract Carbs..
Is it take the number of Carbs from Fiber or minus the Sugars ??I know minue the sugar alcohol but what if the label says just Sugars? Is that the same?

  • You would subtract the fiber sount from the carb if a label says there are 30 carbs and 3 of them are fiber the "real" carb count is 27 carbs

    However Atkins is very dangerous because it is TOO low carb! A healthy low carb is 75-100 grams a day. Any lower isn't healthy for you!

  • I don't think Atkins is the greatest diet. Try doing it naturally.

  • I am not a fan of Atkins either. When my son did it, he ended up so sick and he had a seizure. It was awful. I made him get off the diet and start just eating healthy meals and working out!
