Can braxton hicks contractons cause pain or are they completely painless?

  • They can be pretty painful. But they shouldn't be peel-you-off-the-ceiling, the-neighbors-heard-you-screaming-and-called-the-cops painful.

  • yeah i remember my first one scared me cause i heard it shouldnt hurt but it was the middle of the night and i woke up my mom cause i was crying it hurt so bad

  • Mine were. It's different for everyone, though. But, yeah, mine were hell. They kept telling me to relax and breathe through them, but I just couldn't. All I could do was close my eyes and cry. Then they gave me morphine... ah...
