how in the world do I manage these constant day and night hot flashes?!!

Let's face facts.. this is very unattractive. Buckets of sweat, pouring off my head while I am starting over at 47---does not make me very marketable!

  • As long as you do not have high blood pressure issues, sage tea works very well to help manage hot flashes.

  • I take soy isoflavoids. Any soy products will help with the hot flashes. I eat a peanut butter replacement called soy butter..it is sooo yummy!!! I like it better than regular peanut butter. If I eat a sandwich a day. No hot flashes. good luck

  • I am 47 also and just got married again last October. I had a complete hysto a few months ago. Before that the night sweats were pretty bad, and right after I had LOOONG Tropical Vacations or hot flashes. I started using a natural product called feminene which helped alot. I did not want to use estrogen products so my gyn put me on zoloft which has totally taken care of my power surges.
