  • Unplug appliances you are not using like can opener, toaster, etc, turn off computers when not in use and ceiling fans. Set your thermostat at moderate temperature.

  • If I am not using right then I unplug it. Microwave, TV, computer, radio, coffeepot, blender gets unplug until i use it. Same goes for lights if I am not in the room lights out.

  • If you have dominion, you can check with your company to see if they have the same service. It's called budget billing.:-) That's what we have:-)

  • This may seem really simple but TURN OFF THE LIGHTS. I put tape on my lightswitches so my son can't turn them off or on. I use energy saving lightbulbs, I snuggle up in blankets on cold nights. I wear more clothes when it is chilly.

  • You can turn down your heat, put shrink wrap over your windows to keep drafts out, unplug anything you're not using specifically cell phone chargers computers... things like that.you can air dry clothes instead of using your dryer. Turn the heat down when you're not home or at night.... I'm going through the same thing. lol
