remodeling tips

Our house needs some work on it (roof patched, some holes in walls fixed bathroom needs new floor and some plumbing problems. Anyone have any cheap ideas to fix my needed repairs. My husband has been out of work for a while so we are straped for money. Need ideas.

  • Depends on how big the holes in the wall are, but nail holes can be fixed with a tube of white tooth paste. It works just as good at spackle. Find a wholesale building supply place. They usually have things contractors have left over from big jobs. It's kinda like a thrift store for building supplies. Doing it yourself is ofcourse cheaper than paying someone else to do it. Look into Lowe's and Home Depot they usually have workshops for do-it-yourselfers. They will teach you how to do things you don't know about remodeling. Hope this helps. GL & GB
