I've recently started experimenting with different artisinal salts; smoked, flavored, etc. I'm amazed at the subtle difference in flavor they add to vegetables and meats.
I just saw an article on Himalayan pink salt blocks that you use as a vessel for baking that I'm going to try next.
Have you experimented with any flavored salts or the salt blocks?

Yes! There is a fantastic, local shop that sells amazing spices. I currently have the french grey, hawaiian pink, and an awesome black one that was a gift.
