Lighten hair color

My daughter wants to lighten her hair color which is a really light brown. What do you think a suitable age is for her to start doing this?

  • I first did it when I was 12 with a semi-permanent dye. I havent seen my real hair color since!

  • Girl,I have two daughtersand did hair for over 10 years and I started putting a little bit of highlights on the top when they were in like first grade. You couldn't even tell,it just looked like the sun did it. But they were happy that they had highlights. But then again,my mom started coloring my hair in the 3rd grade.

  • My Dad started coloring my hair when I was 7 years old.I was out of high school when he stopped and I had it done or did it myself.
