  • We just went on our honeymoon last week and it was my first time away from my 2 1/2 year old daughter. And we still did story time. She took one of her favorite storybook with her to grandma's and we took a copy of the same story book with us on our honeymoon and each night we would do story time and anytime in between that she felt sad or lonely or just wanted to we would do story time. It was really nice.

  • seriously i suggest you call them once a day. no more or it will be extra hard on them to forget for a few hours and do something else. but call and yes maybe read a book to them on phone but really kids are more resiliant than you are.
Have you thought that maybe your bringing it up so often your making them worried??
