How do you know if your baby is going through a growth spurt? My son is 2 and a half months

I dont know if it matters that he was a premiee(7 weeks early)

  • Nope, it doesn't matter if he was a preemie. All babies go through growth sperts at different times .. Usual signs, though they don't all show these are .. Exhaustion, hungry more often, complain of pain in legs (specifically), cranky .. Those are the classic signs.

  • My son sleeps and eats more when he goes through growth spurts. He is teething so its hard to tell if the off and on crabbiness is from the growth spurt or teething. It doesnt matter if your baby came early or not. All children go through growth spurts. God luck! :)
