Anybody baking today? I am:

Monkey bread, banana bars, death-by-chocolate cake, cinnamon rolls, muffins, peanut butter oatmeal cookies.

I hardly have time to bake any other day of the week, and I am craving too much right now, so I'm baking up a storm today so the kids have plenty of stuff for breakfast & snacks too this week!

  • I will! I've posted this on fb too and have already gotten all the "How to you make all that and not gain anymore weight?! I'm so jealous!" stuff - well, for one, I'm not worried about my weight, for 2, the more I bake the less I eat, and for 3, my job has me burning a LOT of calories - and especially since this week is going to be below zero for temps most mornings I'll burn more yet!

  • Noosa - it's also called pull-apart bread. My recipe: Mix 1/2 cup margarine & 1 cup brown sugar in a small pan on the stove, heat til boiling, boil 1 minute and take off. Mix about 1/2 cup white sugar & 2 tablespoons cinnamon in a bowl or baggie. Cut 3 (12oz) cans of buttermilk biscuits in quarters and roll in the cinn-sugar. Place in a greased bundt pan. Pour sauce over and bake at 350 for about 35 minutes.
