  • We compromise. She always helps, so I give her a few reasonable options and she gets to pick.

  • We use theĀ 3 bite rule. You must try 3 bites of what is on your plate; if you don't like it, you fix yourself peanut butter and honey on whole grain toast with a kiwi or apple

  • there's so few things my kids wont eat that there's really never anything to think about. they have FAVORITE things of course so I make those more often. I also take occasional requests. Other than onions I cannot think off the top of my head of a single thing they're not into. unless they're sick or VERY tired, they always clean their plate no matter what's on it. they're both terrific eaters.

  • They eat what I make, although I wont make something they wont eat. I don't believe in "pampering" each child just because they want to be picky.

  • My son is really picky so I have figured out what to not even bother with so I cook what we all can agree on.
