Isn't this just typical of men?

I'm watching Little House on the Prairie. Charles and Almanzo made a bet that their way to a city would get them there first. Whichever one LOSES, their WIFE is the one that has to make dinner for the other couple. What the heck??

  • Yeah... It is. My hubby lost a bet and I had to cook his entire shop Thanksgiving Dinner. I knew nothing about the bet and he just came home and told me. He doesn't know how to cook so he expected me to do it all. I did of coarse but that's because I felt bad for all his buddies having no family around to spend the day with.

  • This was before women decided to make decisions for themselves and husbands had a particular role/women had a particular role. Today men cook just as wonderfully and sometimes more superb than women....and the bets today are much more worldly!
