if your spouse works in Indiana but is low income can your special needs child get ssi?

I was asking because we are low income and she gets medical currently but as her needs change i was wondering if she would qualify to help anything her medical insurance does not cover?

She'll qualify for Medicaid for therapies

  • Your spouse's income has no bearing on whether or not your son qualifies for ssi. You can certainly try for ssi. It WILL be a long, tiring process, so don't expect your financial situation to improve immediately. Good luck!
