  • It depends on the ice cream. Some ice cream is horrible for you either way, whereas all natura ice cream can be better for you.

  • It's bad because of sugar and fat.... try frozen yogurt instead, it's a little better for you. Yummy!

  • I have always told my kids that no dessert item can be considered healthy, no matter what. The sugar and fat overwhelm any nutrients.

I think it's the sugar in the ice cream that make it bad.

  • Ice cream is in the junk food category and how bad it is for you depends on what kind of ice cream you get. When I get junk food I have some rules about what I buy; it makes it feel like guilt free junk food.

    1. Ten or less ingredients 2. Made with organic or all natural ingredients 3. No dyes

Try and see if it works for you

  • Dairy isn't necessarily good for you. too much diary can leach iron and other nutrients from your body. Plant based calcium is much better for you than animal based calcium

  • I tell myself it is a serving of Dairy, so it is healthy. I'm pretty sure my Dr. would say to skip the ice cream and have a glass of skim milk ;-)
