I am making chicken marsala. I like mine to taste a little bit sweeter then the recipe calls for. What can I add that will not ruin the sauce?

  • use the sweet Marsala, not the dry. I like the dry better though. I also add tomatoes to mine. if your toamtoes are very acidic a tiny pinch of baking soda will fix that. I would not add sugar to this dish- ever.

  • marsala is a really sweet wine, maybe just add more? More wine is always good LOL

  • Have you tried different brands of wine? some are sweeter then others.

    you could make a little bit of simple syrup and just reduce it longer.
